Israel asks for help in search of missing citizen in Ukraine
Israel's Embassy in Ukraine has asked for help in searching for an Israeli citizen who went missing in the town of Uman, Cherkasy region, on September 15.
"Mr. Amir Ohana, an Israeli citizen, disappeared during the celebration of Rosh Hashanah in the town of Uman on September 15. He was last seen in Uman at 13:00 local time on September 15," the Embassy said in a statement issued in Kyiv on Friday.
An eyewitness said that the pilgrim had left the house and has not returned since, so the Embassy is appealing to everyone with information about the missing man to call the Israeli Embassy to Ukraine.
It was reported that over 29,000 Hassid pilgrims had arrived from various countries to celebrate the Jewish New Year in Uman.
