Justice Ministry to select law firms over dispute with minor shareholders of Ukrnafta, AeroSvit co-owner
The Cabinet of Ministers has authorized the Ministry of Justice to engage legal services to protect the rights and interests of Ukraine in proceedings related to claims by Littop Enterprises, Bridgemont Ventures, Bordo Management (all based in Cyprus) and Gilward Investments B.V. (the Netherlands).
The corresponding changes to government order No. 483 dated May 18, 2015 were made by order No. 918-r of September 8, 2015.
Services will be purchased via a negotiating procedure.
As reported, with reference to Ihor Kolomoisky, the minority shareholders of PJSC Ukrnafta (including Littop Enterprises, Bridgemont Ventures, Bordo Management) filed a lawsuit to the Stockholm arbitration against the state of Ukraine. He has not disclosed the details of the claim.
In early 2015, the Ukrainian presidential administration received a letter containing claims by Gilward Investments B.V., the co-owner of AeroSvit airline which has ceased operations.
