Task of Ukraine's anti-corruption system is to destroy corruption monster - Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said he hopes that the work of the national Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine will lead Ukraine to better results in its fight against corruption.
"Ukraine is 142nd in the corruption perceptions index posted by Transparency International Ukraine. Your task, the task of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the task of the anti-corruption system in Ukraine is to destroy the corruption monster. I hope that in a couple of years, Ukraine will occupy an honorable place among its Europe partners," he said at the oath ceremony for the first detectives of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, which was held in Kyiv on Tuesday.
