Samopomich remains part of parliamentary coalition - Bereziuk
The Samopomich faction remains part of the parliamentary coalition, the faction's leader Oleh Bereziuk has said.
"As of today, we remain in the coalition only to give it the chance to rule the state… There's a chance we'll work, if there's no chance, we'll tell you about it for sure," Bereziuk said on the "Svoboda Slova" (Freedom of Speech) program on ICTV channel.
He also said that during the recent meeting of coalition faction leaders with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Monday, it was noted that the coalition has to make consolidated decision.
"The main topic was the quality of coalition's work," Bereziuk said.
He said that the attendees of the meeting tried to secure the return of council of the coalition, which was in place when the coalition was created to ensure consolidation and consensus.
"Today, we clearly told the president that if we were going to make constitutional amendments regarding judicial procedures, there should be a change of judges…," Bereziuk added.
