Russia objects to forming subgroup on border issues within Contact Group - Kuchma

Russian representatives to the Contact Group promoting the peace process in eastern Ukraine reject the Ukrainian initiative to create a fifth subgroup addressing border issues, Ukrainian Representative to the Contact Group Leonid Kuchma has said.

"We have been proposing the creation of the fifth subgroup on border issues at every meeting of the Contact Group. And every time we are told "This is not the right time yet"," Kuchma told reporters on Friday, answering an Interfax question.
