Poroshenko urges intl discussion of special operation in Donbas to assist in fulfilment of Minsk deal
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has urged the international community to discuss a special operation in Donbas to assist in the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.
"It is time to discuss the possible launch of an operation in Donbas to support the appropriate fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. That will help us achieve two goals for the restoration of peace in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions: the full withdrawal of all Russian mercenaries and armaments and the restoration of control on the Ukrainian-Russian border," he said at the 12th Annual Meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in Kyiv on Friday.
