Ukrainian army reports four attacks on its positions in Donbas
Ukrainian army positions in Donbas came under four attacks on Tuesday, and no shelling incidents happened on Wednesday, the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center has said.
"The situation in the ATO zone was relatively calm last night," it said.
A Ukrainian stronghold was attacked by use of small arms in Luhanske in the Artemivsk sector at about 7 p.m., the report said.
Grenade launchers fired on Ukrainian positions near Schastia in the Luhansk region at 8:25 p.m.
Ukrainian positions south of Avdiyivka were shelled by infantry combat vehicles, grenade launchers, large-caliber machineguns and small arms from the side of the Donetsk suburb of Spartak in the period from 9:05 p.m. till 11:10 p.m.
There were no shelling incidents in the period from midnight till 6 a.m. on Wednesday, the press center said.
