Second grenade in Rada clashes on Aug 31 meant to hit parliament's window – Poroshenko
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that the first grenade thrown outside Verkhovna Rada on August 31 was aimed at National Guard servicemen and that a second grenade was aimed at a window.
"The first grenade to be thrown was meant to provoke National guardsmen into firing in response, the second grenade was meant for a window of Verkhovna Rada," he said during an extended sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv on Tuesday.
