Poroshenko expects EU mission to approve Ukraine's steps towards liberalization of visa regime
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko hopes the EU mission will take a favorable view of Ukraine's implementing of the action plan for liberalization of the visa regime.
"The assessment mission is working now. Today, we still have a fragile hope that we have got a positive result, and I would like that all of us use every effort to allow Ukrainians – even in these harsh conditions – to gain the right to go to the EU without a visa," Poroshenko said at the extended Cabinet of Ministers' meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday.
