Cabinet approves order on financial autonomy of universities – Kvit

The Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine supports the act on the order of banking services of higher educational establishments and scientific institutions, which allows them to become financially autonomous, Ukrainian Education and Science Minister Serhiy Kvit has said.

"The government solidly supported the act on the order of banking services of higher education establishments, scientific institutions and cultural establishments. It happened before the first anniversary of the adoption of the law "On higher Education" (August 6)," Kvit wrote on Facebook.

Kvit went on to say that the act allows universities to become financial autonomous "is of revolutionary significance for science and education development in Ukraine."
