Yatseniuk to visit Slovakia, from which Ukraine got 11 bcm of gas over year - Poroshenko
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Slovak President Andrej Kiska have discussed gas supplies from Slovakia, as well as the upcoming visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk to the country.
"The presidents of Ukraine and Slovakia have discussed the topical issues of bilateral relations, in particular further cooperation in the field of energy security. Poroshenko noted that for the first year of gas reverse supplies from Slovakia Ukraine received about 11 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas, which is about two-thirds of total gas imports to Ukraine from Europe. In this context, the parties also discussed the agenda of the forthcoming visit of Yatseniuk to Slovakia," the press service of the Ukrainian president said after Poroshenko's phone conversation with the Kiska.
