Merkel, Hollande inform Putin on adherence to Minsk agreements
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of France Francois Hollande in phone talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed adherence to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the German government reported on Saturday.

The leaders of Germany, France and Russia have come to the conclusion that it is important to hold Normandy Four meetings in the future.
"The partners in the talks underlined the readiness to work over the implementation of the Minsk agreements as a part of Normandy Four and jointly with the Ukrainian president," reads the statement.
The sides said that OSCE plays a key role in settling the conflict in eastern Ukraine and heavy armaments are to be withdrawn from the contact line.
"Ceasefire [in Donbas] is to be accompanied by the withdrawal of heavy arms, including a caliber under 100mm," reads the document.
