Kyivstar supervisory council re-elects Chernyshov as president
The supervisory council of JSC Kyivstar on August 21 decided to re-elect Peter Chernyshov as president of the company.
According to a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, Chernyshov has been re-elected for an indefinite period.
Chernyshov was appointed as president of the company in June 2014 instead of its founder and head Ihor Lytovchenko. Previously, he headed Carlsberg in Ukraine.
Kyivstar is a Ukrainian telecommunications operator which provides communications and data transmission services through a wide range of mobile and fixed technologies, including 3G. The operator services more than 26 million mobile subscribers and nearly 820,000 fixed Internet customers.
The shareholder of Kyivstar is VimpelCom Ltd international group (the Netherlands).
