Poroshenko convinced that Ukraine to see prospect of visa-free regime with EU in near future
Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko hopes that Ukraine will obtain clear signals from the European Union telling of the introduction of a visa-free regime.
"Right after the [Ukrainian] Independence Day March, I set off for talks in Berlin where I met two leaders of the European Union, President of France Francois Holland and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. The key task is to boost reforms and secure quick integration of Ukraine into the EU," Poroshenko said when speaking at the ceremony of the new patrol police's oath-taking in Odessa.
Ukraine has done everything in order to make as many EU member states as possible ratify the Association Agreement in less than one year. "I am sure that we can report on implementing reforms in the near future and see the prospect of a visa-free regime," the Ukrainian president said.
