Duda assures Poroshenko of Poland's readiness to support any action to return peace, stability to Ukraine
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was congratulated on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day by Polish President Andrzej Duda, Poroshenko's press service has reported.
On the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, the Polish people and me personally wish all the best to you and the Ukrainian people, Duda said.
Duda assured Poroshenko of Poland's readiness to support any actions aimed at reaching long-lasting peace and stability in Ukraine.
He expressed hope that relations between Ukraine and Poland will be a reflection of a real strategic partnership and neighborly co-operation.
Duda also said that he understood how much effort is needed to introduce systematic reforms in Ukraine, and noted that Poland would support Ukraine's efforts to reinforce independence and sovereignty, as well as modernization and democratization.
