A Normandy Four meeting may take place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York in September 2015, according to reports in the German media.

Preparation for the meeting has already begun, Deutsche Welle reported, referring to DPA agency.

"It is possible that the conduct of negotiations will be held before the UN General Assembly session in New York, which is scheduled for the end of September," the report said.

According to the report, diplomats are working to prepare a new meeting in the Normandy Four format with the participation of the presidents of Ukraine, Russia, France, and the Chancellor of Germany, which could be held in the near future.
