No alternative to Minsk agreement - Poroshenko

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says there is no alternative to the peace settlement plan in the eastern part of the country.

"There is no alternative to the peace process in Ukraine, the same as now there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements supported by the UN Security Council, a decision of the European Union Council and a decision of all member countries of our pro-Ukrainian coalition," the head of state said on the Independence Square on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of Ukrainian independence.
