Ukrainian govt forces, militants reach agreement on humane treatment of captives – Ukrainian Defense Ministry adviser
The Ukrainian government forces have reached agreement with the militants on the humane treatment of captives, says Vasyl Budyk, a Ukrainian Defense Ministry adviser.
"There is an agreement at the moment that there will be no parade of captives, and none of our captives will be shot," Budyk said on his "Facebook" account.
The government forces and the militants "have reached agreement on the humane treatment of captives," he said.
Some mistakes that recently disrupted a swap in captives based on the '13 for 13' formula have been corrected, he said.
