Rostov court rejects lawyers' request to change territorial jurisdiction of Savchenko's case
The Rostov Region Court in southern Russia has rejected the defense team's request to change the territorial jurisdiction of the case against Ukrainian citizen Nadia Savchenko, accused of involvement in the killing of Russian journalists, and transfer her trial to Moscow, an Interfax correspondent reported from the courtroom.
Savchenko will go on trial at the Donetsk City Court in the Rostov region.
