Poroshenko to visit Brussels on Aug 27-27 to discuss energy visa free regime, security issues
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will visit Brussels on August 26-27 to discuss a number of issues, including those affecting the energy sector.
"My visit to Brussels will be held on August 26 and 27. There will be meetings with European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, bilateral negotiations with Belgium leaders, where the emphasis will be also put on the visa-free regime and coordination of security actions," he told journalists in Kyiv on Thursday.
According to Poroshenko energy issues will be raised during the negotiations "to ensure reverse [supplies] of European gas and ensure transit of gas to implement our functions in the energy sector for sure."
