Ukraine will drop CIS criminal search database system on Aug 24 – Yatseniuk
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has announced that Ukraine will drop the CIS criminal search database system on August 24, 2015.
"From August 24 we'll drop the so-called search base of the CIS because Moscow doesn't fulfill our procedural instructions and our joining the Interpol database means that now we're a part of the single international search system in the world," Yatseniuk told journalists in Boryspil on Thursday.
First Deputy Chief of State Border Guard System of Ukraine Vasyl Servatiuk said in turn that the switch to the Interpol database has been tested since August 15.
