Some 30 military hardware units arrive in occupied Donbas from Russia over last two days – Parubiy
Nearly 30 units of military hardware have crossed over the uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian-Russian border near Izvaryne in the last two days, First Deputy Parliamentary Speaker Andriy Parubiy has said.
"For the last two days nearly 30 military hardware units crossed from Russian territory and entered occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions," he said in an interview with TV Channel Five on Wednesday evening.
According to Parubiy, shock groups stationed to prepare for a possible breakthrough were deployed near Stakhanov and Donetsk and are being reequipped with arms and ammunition.
"But it is difficult to predict whether a storming is possible. There is no doubt that preparations for it are ongoing. Certainly, Independence Day is an irritating date for them [the Russians]. Do they dare, will they have enough forces for an attack – it is a question of time, and of our readiness to repel the attack," he said.
