Ukrainian Cabinet establishes position of commissioner for Crimean affairs
The Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine has liquidated the Department on Issues of Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and established a position of the State Commissioner for Crimean and Sevastopol Affairs instead.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk signed a respective resolution No. 595 on August 19.
According to the resolution, the position of the State Commissioner for Crimean Affairs relates to the first category of state officials and in terms of salary and provision is equal to the position of the deputy minister.
The resolution also approves the status of the Commissioner for Crimean Affairs.
