Poroshenko to make proposals on de-escalation of situation in Donbas at meeting with Hollande, Merkel in Berlin on Aug 24
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande are scheduled to meet in Berlin on August 24.
"On Monday, August 24, a trilateral meeting of Ukrainian President Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will be held in Berlin," the president's press service reported on Wednesday.
The Presidential Administration noted that during the meeting, Poroshenko will tell his counterparts aboutthe security situation in the region and present suggestions of avoiding negative scenarios in Donbas.
