Over 50 buildings damaged in shelling in Mariupol suburbs - State Emergency Service of Ukraine
Six privately owned homes and about 45 other buildings were damaged in artillery shelling in Mariupol suburbs, including Sartan, on Sunday night. Glass is broken and roofs and fences are scratched.
The shelling started a fire in a 150mm low-pressure gas pipeline, the Donetsk regional military-civilian administration said, referring to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"The fire was put out at about 1:36 a.m. on August 17. Power supply is limited in Sartan, and the damage is being assessed," it said.
Artillery shelling killed two people and injured six on Sunday evening and early on Monday morning.
