Cases against Head of Russian General Staff, ten Russian servicemen to be handed to intl courts after hearing in Ukraine – official
Criminal cases against Head of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and ten Russian military servicemen, whose presence in Ukraine during the Ilovaisk tragedy has been established, will be sent to international courts after hearing them in Ukraine, Deputy Prosecutor General, Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoliy Matios has said.
"A ruling of the national court is required to send materials to international courts, and society has no doubt that Russia is at war with us," he said at a presentation of conclusions drawn by comprehensive experts on the events near Ilovaisk in Kyiv on Friday.
As reported, Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine is investigating into criminal cases against Gerasimov, as well as ten soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces.
