The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (OSCE SMM) intends to continue its work in Donetsk although its vehicles were burned down early on Sunday morning.
"In response to reports SMM has no plans to leave Donetsk. Today we're @ work in Donetsk, Luhansk including facilitating water repair works," the mission said in a statement posted on Facebook and on Twitter on Thursday.
OSCE SMM spokesman Michael Bociurkiw told Interfax that the incident would impact the working conditions of the monitors but they would carry on their mission in the lands uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities.
