Poroshenko suspends two heads of district administrations in Kherson, Chernihiv regions detained for bribery
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has decided to suspend Head of Bobrovytska District State Administration in Chernihiv region Mykola Suprun and Head of Holoprystansky District State Administration in Kherson region, Oleksandr Bohunenko, for the time of investigation, as both officials were accused of bribery.
As the presidential press service reported, Poroshenko was informed of the general course of the operation of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO).
Poroshenko positively assessed the work on prevention of corruption by the Main Investigative Directorate of the PGO. The president once again noted the necessity of a profound fight against bribery in government agencies.
"Active anti-corruption work of the PGO is a confirmation of our strict position – no one in power is or can be untouchable," Poroshenko said.
