Ukraine planning to deliver coal from Donbas via Russia
The Ukrainian government agreed on the possibility of delivering coal from the military operation zone to the Kyiv-controlled territory through Russia, Minister of Energy and Coalmining Volodymyr Demchyshyn told reporters.
"Delivery via Russia was discussed. There is such a question. It was voted for in the positive way," he said after a government meeting.
This is the coal supply for all Ukrainian power stations which need it, Demchyshyn said.
He said that there were three routes of coal delivery stretching from 10 to 300 kilometers.
