Kyiv says one serviceman killed, three wounded in Donbas over past day
One serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was killed and another three were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian presidential administration spokesman for the ATO Andriy Lysenko has said.
"We have lost one serviceman and another three have been injured in the hostilities and provocations," Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
In turn, the Donetsk region military-civilian administration reported the injury of two civilians.
"A female resident of Volnovakha suffered injuries in a mine explosion and was taken to the intensive care unit of the central district hospital," the administration said, quoting information from healthcare institutions of the Donetsk region.
Another victim of a mine explosion, a man from Avdiyivka, is receiving outpatient care.
