Austria finishes ratification of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement – Ambassador
Austria has finished the procedure of ratifying the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria Oleksandr Scherba has said.
"Austrian ratification has been sent to Brussels. Austria has finished the ratification procedure of the Association Agreement. Danke!" the Ambassador wrote on Facebook on Friday.
At the end of July, after the agreement was ratified by the Austrian parliament, the country's President Heinz Fischer signed the document. It was then sent to be signed by the Chancellor.
As a result, the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement has been fully ratified by 22 EU member states. All 28 EU members have to ratify the document.
