Poroshenko tells new Polish president: Together we will overcome all challenges

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the new Polish President Andrzej Duda on his inauguration which was held on Thursday.

"Andrzej Duda is Poland's new president. Congratulations to our good neighbors on the milestone in the life of the republic. Together, we will overcome all the challenges [we face]!" Poroshenko wrote on his "Facebook" page.

Andrzej Duda won the presidential elections in Poland on May 24, 2015. On Thursday, August 6, Duda took the president's oath.
