Government allocates UAH 500 mln from state budget to pay miners' salary
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 500 million of budget funds intended for the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry for 2015 to support coal production enterprises by partially covering their expenses and salaries.
The decision was formalized by Cabinet decree No. 784-p of August 5.
As a result, expenses incurred restructuring coal and oil production were cut by UAH 600 million.
The Finance Ministry was ordered to coordinate allocation of expenses with the Verkhovna Rada budget committee and make corresponding amendments to the breakdown of the state budget.
