Yatseniuk alarmed over lack of information on Ukraine in global media
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk is alarmed over the level of coverage of events in Ukraine in the foreign media.
"There are many various ads about different countries, but no Ukraine. We had a great video we prepared for the investment conference in the U.S. I'm overall alarmed with the coverage of Ukraine in the world," Yatseniuk said at a meeting of the collegium of the Information Policy Ministry in Kyiv on Tuesday.
According to him, the global media talked about the consequences of the recent terrorist attack in Turkey for several days.
"Such things happen every day in Ukraine, but Ukraine disappeared from the global information media. This is a problem I can actually see," Yatseniuk said.
