Ukraine Contact Group agrees on need to reopen checkpoints along Donbas contact line - OSCE special envoy

The humanitarian sub-group within the trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine has agreed that it is necessary to create conditions for resuming the operations of checkpoints along the contact line in Donbas, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Special Envoy Martin Sajdik has said.

The group unanimously agreed on the need to create conditions for resuming the work of checkpoints for crossing the contact line in the Luhansk region, he told reporters. Civilians are currently unable to cross it, he added.
