Prosecution reform will be complete after prosecutor general is elected

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin said that persecution reform must include the nomination and election of potential candidates for the post of prosecutor general, according to First Deputy Prosecutor General Yuriy Sevruk.

"The prosecutor general said that reforming the PGO will complete when there would be a chance to elect the general prosecutor," he said during a roundtable talk entitled "New Public Prosecutor: To Be or Not to Be? Challenges and Perspectives of Prosecution Agencies' Work under Conditions of Reforming" in Kyiv.
