Ukrainian goods will enter EU market in a few years due to FTA - Poroshenko
Ukrainian products will within a few years enter the European Union market due to the commencement of a free trade area (FTA), President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said.
"I am convinced that thanks to the agreement on association, a deep and comprehensive free trade area, signed by me and ratified by the parliament, in a few years we will enter an alternative market for Ukrainian goods if a further escalation of the conflict is prevented," Poroshenko said during celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Andriy Sheptytsky in Lviv.
"If we reach peace, then next year we will be able to ensure economic growth," Poroshenko added.
