Athanasios Arvanitis, an advisor to the International Monetary Fund's European Department and IMF Mission Chief in Croatia, will lead an IMF mission in Ukraine, the IMF said on Thursday.
IMF's incumbent Mission Chief in Ukraine, Ceyla Pazarbasioglu, will in January start work as an assistant to the director of the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets department and will be in charge of financial supervision.
The IMF stresses that the reshuffle is not linked to current developments in Ukraine.
