With 100% of ballots counted in Rada by-election, Berezenko gets 35.90% of votes, Korban 14.76% – CEC
With 100% of the ballots counted, Serhiy Berezenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc) wins with 35.90% of the vote in the July 26 by-election to the Verkhovna Rada in constituency No. 205 (Chernihiv), according to data published on the Central Election Commission's website on Monday.
His main rival Hennadiy Korban (UkrOP Ukrainian Association of Patriots Party) received 14.76% of the vote, the CEC said.
According to the commission's data, independent candidate Volodymyr Zub got 8.18% of votes; Democratic Alliance Party representative Ihor Andriychenko – 7.97%; independent runner Mykola Zveryev – 7.54%; Svoboda candidate Andriy Mischenko – 6.97%; independent candidate Oleksiy Demyanenko – 5.45%; Civil Position Party member Oleksandr Melnyk – 3.40%; independent candidates Andriy Hlaba and Hennadiy Karban – 1.63% and 1.58% respectively.
