Budget for 2016 will be more complicated than 2015 budget - Yatseniuk
Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has predicted that the national budget for 2016 will be even more complicated than this year's budget.
"The budget of 2016 will be even more complicated than the budget of 2015," he said at a Finance Ministry meeting.
According to him, this is due to a significant decline in revenues from the National Bank of Ukraine, which is estimated at UAH 40 billion, and the abolition of additional import duties, which brought UAH 17.5 billion.
According to Yatseniuk, a significant increase in spending is expected amidst the reduction of these revenues in 2016. In particular, the prime minister said the program of subsidies for the public will be increased in 2016 by another UAH 20 billion compared to UAH 24 billion in 2015.
He also mentioned the expected indexation of citizens' income.
"The budget will be very difficult," he concluded.
