Ukrainian schools told to increase hours for foreign-language teaching - Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk claims that he has ordered the number of hours schools spend on foreign language teaching to be increased.
"The world has changed, and for you to be competitive in this world, you must speak many foreign languages. This is yet another source of knowledge. This is exactly why I issued an instruction that secondary schools should increase the number of hours on foreign languages teaching," Yatseniuk said on the "Ten Minutes with Prime Minister" program on the Espreso television on Sunday evening.
