French parliamentarians who visited Crimea to be barred from entering Ukraine – foreign minister
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry will issue an official recommendation to the Security Service to bar the ten members of the French National Assembly and the Senate who visited Crimea earlier this week from entering Ukraine, the European Pravda reported.
Asked whether the Foreign Ministry would recommend barring the said French parliamentarians from visiting Ukraine, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin replied affirmatively.
"It's too bad that there is a certain niche in France that does such things in gambling on anti-Americanism. On the other hand, there are several deputies there who are extreme tourists and who even visited Assad. And we will be working with all parliaments to minimize such things," he added.
