Poroshenko, Buquicchio discuss running of constitutional, judicial and election reforms in Ukraine – press service
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) Gianni Buquicchio shared views on the implementation of constitutional, judicial and electoral reforms in Ukraine.
On the eve Poroshenko and Buquicchio held a telephone talk, the presidential press service reported.
"The President of the Venice Commission praised the decision of the Parliament of Ukraine on submitting the draft law on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine over power decentralization to the Constitutional Court," the report said.
The Ukrainian president stressed an importance of the expert potential of the Venice Commission for a legislative provision of the reform process in Ukraine.
