Kyiv court allows conviction in absentia after investigation of ex-health minister Bohatyriova – PGO
Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has permitted a special pre-trial investigation into former Health Minister Raisa Bohatyriova which will allow her to be convicted in absentia.
"On July 23, Kyiv Pechersky District Court permitted a special pre-trial investigation against former Health Minister Raisa Bohatyriova…that is the possibility of conviction in absentia in case when this person is on a national and international [wanted] list," the press service of Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) reported on Thursday.
