Kyiv allots UAH 600 mln for reconstructions in Donbas
The Ukrainian government has allotted UAH 600 million to support reconstructions in Donbas, and another EUR 500 million have been provided by international organizations, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Regional Development, Construction, Housing, and Communal Services Hennadiy Zubko has said.
"Restorations in Donbas are another important area of the ministry's work. The government has allotted a total of UAH600 million from the state budget under various programs," he said at a board meeting on Thursday.
International financial institutions have contributed to Donbas' restorations as well. "For example, about EUR 300 million have been allotted to Ukraine by the German bank KfW and another EUR 200 million have come from the European Investment Bank precisely for these purposes," Zubko said.
