OSCE Chairperson Dacic: No alternative to political solution in Donbas conflict
Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office Ivica Dacic, the foreign minister of Serbia, said on Tuesday that only a political solution can bring an end to the crisis in and around Ukraine.
"We stand firmly behind efforts to find a political solution; anything else is simply not an option," the OSCE website quoted Dacic as saying in Minsk on Tuesday, where he attended a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine.
"We are fully committed to supporting the work of the TCG [Trilateral Contact Group] and its four working groups on political, security, humanitarian and economic issues," he said.
The Minsk agreements must be respected by all sides to de-escalate the conflict, Dacic said.
