Kuchma comes to Minsk for meeting of Ukraine Contact Group

Leonid Kuchma, who represents Kyiv at the trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine, has arrived in the Belarusian capital Minsk to attend the group's meeting.

Kuchma's spokesperson Darya Olyfer told Interfax that his airplane had landed at Minsk airport.

According to earlier reports, Olyfer said earlier today that the Contact Group's meeting was expected to begin at 4:00 p.m. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Chairperson-in-Office Ivica Dacic will attend the meeting. The Contact Group will discuss the results of the meetings of its sub-groups for security, humanitarian, political and economic issues.
