Security & Defense Council to accelerate submission of Crimea, Donbas compensation claims to international courts
The National Security and Defense Council decided at its meeting on Monday to accelerate the submission of claims to international courts to demand compensations for the losses Ukraine has sustained in connection with Russian aggression in Crimea and Donbas.
"During a debate on this issue, [the council] heard a report by relevant ministers on the timing of lodging claims with international courts to compensate the losses our state has sustained as a result of Russia's aggression in Crimea and in the east of Ukraine. In particular, a decision was made to accelerate the coordination, as well as information and analytical support of these efforts, and provide legal assistance to private investors and citizens of Ukraine who have suffered from Russian aggression," the NSDC's press service reported after the meeting.
