Washington might enhance training program for Ukrainian soldiers starting from November – U.S. general
Commander of the U.S. Army in Europe Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges has said that American military instructors might start an enhanced training program for Ukrainian soldiers staring from the end of November, AP agency reported on Monday.
According to him, this option is still being considered. This training program would be a continuation of the ongoing training of National Guard of Ukraine personnel which currently involves 305 American soldiers.
Hodges didn’t elaborate on the new training plan but said that the U.S. had to make a final decision on the issue soon – otherwise it will be impossible to start training Ukrainian soldiers by November.
