The press service for the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has reported that its official Twitter account was hacked on Monday.
"The official NSDC Twitter account has been hacked, we are now working to determine who did it and from where they did it," the NSDC press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
The following report was posted on the official Twitter account of the Ukrainian NSDC earlier on Monday: "General Taran was dismissed from his post as head of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC. He is suspected of a crime enshrined by Article 111 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code [high treason]."
The NSDC press service later told Interfax it had not posted that information.
